Air S✕periences · air, experience, and something extra
Italy AirSperiences
A spin-off of Il Casone, under the Soaring Italy brand: bespoke helicopter journeys of seven to fifteen days, the length of a country.
Twenty-six years of flying safaris taught me one thing: a helicopter is not a way of travelling faster. It is a way of travelling differently.
The Platinum Experience already gives you four days of it. Italy Airsperiences takes the same idea and lets it run: seven to fifteen days moving across Italy by private helicopter, landing where roads take half a day to reach, sleeping in places chosen one by one, hosted with the same obsessive attention we give a week at Il Casone.
Volcanic lakes and Etruscan plateaux, the marble amphitheatres of Carrara, the Apennine spine, the trabocchi of the Adriatic, the Amalfi cliffs, Sicily's cones and the Aeolian islands, the Dolomites in early snow. No two journeys the same, because no two groups are.
What a week of it can hold: a museum in Rome opened privately before the city wakes; a Stradivari violin played for you alone; an hour inside San Marco with nobody else in it; a castle terrace laid for lunch while a violin and a harp play behind you; a foundry that has been casting bells — including the Pope's — for more than a thousand years.
Launching soon. If it sounds like your kind of madness, tell us now — the first departures will be built with the people who ask first.
