Il Casone, the opening photograph

Three things you should know

Il Casone is not a rental. It is a week of your life, arranged by someone who lives here.

It's the experience

The house is the beginning, not the arrival point. What you take home is a week of Tuscia seen from the inside: hidden villages, Antonello's mastery in preparing the lamb spit in the garden, dawn over the calanchi, a Vatican room with nobody in it.

It's rustic and true

Ancient doors, old furniture Andrea collected in old villages from every corner of Italy, Marco's handmade terracotta floors, original chestnut beams, local porcelain, warm lamplight. No two rooms are alike, and none of them pretend to be a hotel.

It's about you

We listen first. Your needs, your rhythm, your dreams and the ages around your table. Then we build the week that fits — and we are here, every day, to keep it fitting.

Your home in Tuscia

Five bedrooms, five bathrooms, five hectares of hilltop — and a 360° view

Your luxury villa experience, between Tuscany, Umbria and Rome. Open fields, olive groves, a large garden and a swimming pool that looks straight at the valley of Civita di Bagnoregio and its badlands. The whole property is yours, for the whole week. Grandparents, parents, grandchildren; or the friends you have been meaning to gather for years.

The restoration

We restored a rural identity, then allowed exactly a few modern shocks

A minimalist travertino kitchen carved out of Rapolano stone. A glass-walled bathroom in room C5. Two twin LED lines running along the vaulted stone hall. A bathtub that used to be a wine cask. And, breathing quietly on a wall, a piece from the Funzioni d'Onda series by Akelo — Andrea Cagnetti — born a few kilometres from here, known far beyond it.

Three formulas, one philosophy

Bespoke, Golden, Platinum

From the exclusive use of the house with breakfast and daily service, to a fully inclusive per-person experience in the spirit of an African luxury lodge — and up to four days of private helicopter to stretch your horizon over Italy.

From the guests' book

"Three generations, one kitchen that smells of bread, and a host who somehow knew our son would rather see an Etruscan tomb than a pool."
